Malaya Cosmetics is a sister-led beauty brand founded in Gloucester, UK, built on creativity, independence, and a love for self-expression. Created by women who are passionate about beauty, business, and building something meaningful, Malaya began as a shared vision to turn creativity into confidence. Inspired by everyday life, personal style, and the desire to empower women, every product reflects our journey, our values, and our belief that beauty should feel personal, powerful, and real.
FROM SISTERS TO THE POWER HOUSE DUO
Jessica and Becky grew up as close sisters on a council estate in Runcorn, Cheshire. They didn’t have much, but what they did have was each other and a deep belief in making the most of every opportunity. Through every challenge, their bond remained unbreakable, shaping the women and the brand they would one day create together.Malaya was founded with a clear purpose: to bring affordability and luxury together without compromise, while celebrating self-care and self-expression. Building a brand from the ground up hasn’t always been easy, and Malaya has tested them at times but their sisterhood has always been stronger than any obstacle. Malaya Cosmetics is more than makeup. It’s a reminder to love the skin you’re in, to embrace individuality, and to know that not everyone is the same and that’s something to be celebrated. Beauty isn’t about fitting in; it’s about being unapologetically yourself.
When I reflect on our journey building Malaya together, I don’t think I’ve ever experienced so many BIG milestones and lessons in such a short period of time. As sisters who are also best friends, working side by side has allowed us to grow, dream, and create something meaningful together. We don’t do this alone, we support each other, share the workload, and face challenges hand in hand while building a business rooted in love, resilience, and purpose.

I’m also a proud mum to my amazing son, and most days, you’ll find me either running around with him or creating beauty behind the scenes. Malaya Cosmetics began as a dream I carried with me since I was a little girl, the dream of owning my very own cosmetics brand Growing up, I didn’t have much. But I had belief, determination, and a vision bigger than my circumstances. Building Malaya from the ground up has been exhausting at times, filled with long days and sleepless nights but it has also been the most magical and rewarding journey of my life. Malaya isn’t just my business. It’s my heart, my purpose, and the little girl dream I once held so tightly, now becoming my reality. Thank you for being part of this journey with me" 🤍✨

Beauty has always been my passion, from lashes and foundation to everything in between, it’s my creative escape and my happy place. I’m a big believer that what’s meant for you will always find its way to you. Life has taught me that trusting the journey, even when it feels uncertain, often leads you exactly where you’re meant to be.

Behind the scenes is where I live, and where a lot of Malaya comes to life. From graphic design and social media to packing orders and handling the day-to-day details, I pour my heart into every part of this brand.When my sister Jessica shared her dream of starting a beauty brand, I didn’t hesitate. I stepped in to help turn her vision into reality, knowing how much Malaya meant to her. What started as supporting my sister quickly became something so much bigger a brand built on love, hard work, and sisterhood.Malaya wouldn’t be Malaya without both of us. Being assistant manager and co-founder isn’t just a role to me, it’s a passion, a purpose, and a reminder of what can happen when sisters believe in each other and work side by side to make a dream come true.
Malaya Cosmetics was born from a shared belief that beauty is more than appearance, it’s a declaration of self-worth. Rooted in intention, guided by purpose, and shaped by the strength of women, our journey is about creating space for confidence to grow and individuality to shine. When I’m not working with my children by my side, I’m pouring my heart into Malaya Cosmetics—a brand born from the desire to empower and embrace every individual’s unique beauty. I love savoring life’s little pleasures, from Italian cuisine and a good glass of wine to singing and creating unforgettable memories with my family. Through Malaya Cosmetics, I aim to inspire confidence, celebrate individuality, and help everyone feel radiant inside and out.

Malaya Cosmetics is based in Gloucester, UK. While we’re not a walk-in store, this is where all the magic happens, every idea is created here and every order is packed with care and love. It’s the heart of our brand, where we continue to grow, create, and dream bigger.
Jessica opened the unit in 2022, marking the beginning of her own empire. As Malaya Cosmetics continues to evolve, her vision is to expand in the future and turn it into something truly amazing.
